Ballet Releve En Arabesque

Ballet Term Releve en arabesque [ruhl-VAY ah na-ra-BESK ]. A raising of the dancer's body demi-pointe in an arabesque position. Stand in an arabesque position on the working foot. Demi-plie on the working leg, with a slight spring rise on the working demi-pointe, holding the arabesque position. With a slight spring lower the working heel to the ground with a demi-plie and continue the movement.
